Today I would like to talk about international day for tolerance First of all The international day for tolerance is held on 16 November with activities directed towards both education establishments and the wired public. Its aim is to promote respect and mutual understanding between people of different race and colour, religion and belief, ethnicity and tradition. heads of state and governments encourage dialogue and cooperation among different cultures, civilizations and peoples. During the International day of tolerance our students decorate school and make paper flowers with greetings witch later are handed out for people whom we meet on the street. This is really a good way to express tolerance. Moreover, at school we are taught about tolerance as developing the young people's ability to self-assess critical thinking and reasoning. Also, at school we are taught about tolerance, how it develops the young people's ability to independently value, critically think and philosophize about world religions, cultures and nations. All this knowing enriches us. In Lithuania international day for tolerance is commemoration. However, adolescence - a critical age period. This is the freedom and self-seeking time. So there are many problems of conflict among teenagers and adults. But I will include only three.
